You could have, probably, chosen a faster delivery method. But once it's been shipped, you cannot change when it is expected to be delivered. One thing that you might be able to do, is pick it up at a local distribution center. But that's a hit or miss proposition. If you're lucky, when you go to the distribution center, it won't be in a truck, out for delivery.

Just wait another 2-3 days. Be patient. It might appear in your doorstep in an hour.

A lot of factors play into this. Does the website you ordered from say UPS or does it mention anything about additional delivery services. Sometimes UPS, DHL and FedEX will deliver packages to the main post office in your city/location and then the USPS will deliver it to your door with your regular mail and that usually adds an extra day or two. I've also seen UPS being contracted as the main carrier but then handing off your package to a smaller delivery service that is contracted with them. As far as your packages... you could receive it sooner. Lots of times when I've ordered from Newegg's 3-5 day service I'd get it the next day since their distribution center is only a few miles from where I live. You just have to wait until you see the message "out for delivery" to know for sure. I've had packages sit at my city's post office for 3 days.
