A university is composed of colleges. The university is the term for a collective group of schools known as colleges. Each school is specialized in an area of study. For example, at my university, there are the business and science colleges. Universities are generally better than colleges because they offer more in-depth, specialized study. However, there are colleges that are better ranked than universities. For example, Boston College is ranked higher than most other universities.

It's the same thing when you're looking at higher education after high school. But a university offers more options and is researched based unlike a college. If it's a basic major like math or english then it's better to go to college. But if you want like top-notch specific like heart surgeon (random) then it's better to go to a university

A University is more Specalizing You can't be a Doctor at College :)
