I drive exactly the speed limit just to be safe no faster maybe atleast 5 miles lower.
Answer #3 | 10/02 2014 07:22
I usually go about 5 miles over. Also where I live their are acceptable speed zones where the police regulate accordingly. EX: We have a main road where the speed limit sign says 45. Everyone goes down the road at 55 or 60 and it's so common, and it's a road where you can do such a thing safely, and the police don't care. They do it to. If you're in some parts of town the standard is 35 or 45 as in you must go the speed limit. As for me, I usually depending on where I am going do 55 and 45. I also don't break for a turn unless I have to, and I accelerate out of a turn instead of going in fast, and breaking drastically like other drivers do. Also maintain a speed! I hate drivers that do 55 then slow to 30, then speed up to 55, slow down, break for no reason/come to near stop, speed up again, etc. Don't get me wrong, I drive fast, I accelerate up to speed fast, but I do drive the speed limit 98% of the time. The most I will ever go over is 5 mph.

Answer #7 | 10/02 2014 07:20
I do There's a ton of speed cameras in my city
Answer #8 | 10/02 2014 07:21
Sadly yes they do. I say "sadly" because I am a police officer and I wish people wouldn't drive the speed limit when I'm bored as heck. However, I generally give people a 10 mph over the limit leeway...and sometimes all the way up to 15. So it's not unusual to see people at 5-7 over...but those don't count.
