The compression ratio is already 11.3:1. That can not be increased any further without shattering the pistons. You can not add a turbo. Engines built for a turbo charger have much lower compression ratios, like 8.5:1. That way they won't blow up when the turbo charger kicks in. There are very few cars you can add a turbo charger to these days. EHow does not know anything. The pistons are different in the turbo models.
