I honestly don't think I could marry a girl that has a kid with a father besides me, that'd be too complicated and annoying. Just a personal opinion, but for you, if you think you could live with that, go for it. She seems like a nice girl and if you really like her put that aside and fall in love!

Hey, it seems like you love her, right? But anyway, of course I would. We left my father when I was a child and haven't seen him since, but my mother remarried and now we are all happy. I love my stepfather very much, and I'm sure this kid would love you if you got together with this girl. And I don't blame you for being wary, it's natural. Having kids can be scary, but adoptive ones? You have a right to be nervous. But he sounds like a good kid, so you should get along. Having a relationship like this, I would say, can even be good for you. It's like a good deed, except one with more commitment. This girl sounds like she's a good mother, also, so you shouldn't worry too much about parenting. Just make sure you treat them well, but I definitely say go for it. What have you got to lose? Hope I helped. :)

For some guys(and girls too), kids are a deal breaker. So in your search for a mate, you will run into this often. But the good news is it's not a deal breaker for everyone. So just find a guy who doesn't mind. They're out there. Do what most people do and mention early on that you have a kid. So if your love interest has problem with it he'll back off before you get too involved. Don't throw him into the dad role, as you don't want to do that to your kid with someone you don't know is going to be a serious prospect yet. But make sure he knows. But lots of people with kids from previous relationships get married. However, the reality of it is that it does complicated things a bit. Doesn't make them impossible. Just more complicated.
