It is not normal, but it can take your body a while to restart your own hormone/fertility cycle again. With the pill, you did not ovulate or menstruate. The hormones prevented ovulation and the withdrawal of the hormones during the bleeding week caused withdrawal bleeding. Now that you stopped, your body needs to start manufacturing the different hormones itself, and then ovulate and menstruate. If you do not have a period after 3 months of stopping, it is time to see your doctor. Best of luck!
