Make sure you eat lots of protein to make up for not eating the meat. I am not an expert, but there is a lot of foods meant for vegetarians/ You never know, you might like it! :) The best thing to do would be to talk to a nutrition expert, doctor, and last resort google vegetarian recipes.

Not eating meat eliminates all B-vitamins (B1-B12) from your diet. You can only make up for that - nutritionally speaking - by eating the same amount of beans. Since I'm a college student and meat where I come from is very expensive, I stock up on lentils (they're a kind of bean) and use them as I would meat, I just throw them in a pot with some rice and boil them at the same time. BUT: Lentils - while they're high in everything else you can think of (vitamins, proteins, amino-acids, minerals etc.) - are low in protein called methionine, and if you don't have a good dietary source of this last protein, then that will effectively limit the amount of all the other good stuff in the lentils that your body will be able to absorb, since all proteins have to be present in your meals for your body to absorb any of it. Foods that are high in this compound methionine are eggs, sesame seeds, Brazil nuts, fish and some other plant seeds and cereal grains.

eat pasta
Answer #9 | 14/12 2013 00:56
Eat morning star products they are made of soy/tofu and taste just like real meat. I've had my friend who eats meat try one of their corn dogs and she couldn't tell it didn't have meat. And don't lie to your girlfriend saying you will do it then eat meat behind her back she'll find out eventually. I've been a vegetarian for 5 years it's not that hard.
