get off all insulin spiking foods. No pasta, potatoes, bread, sugar. None replace the calories with protein. Eggs, chicken, beef, even whey protein. chromium and vanadium you should be supplementing with. take vitamins. lift some wieghts and put on a little muscle.

go talk to the doctor or dietician!! or to your CDE!! Since you know your problems, you can and must deal with them in real time. suggestions: get a long acting insulin Rx to be taken one time a day, yes it helps me to use less bolus insulin! take half the amount of bolus insulin (meal time) before the meal, then count up the grams of carb you have injested and adjust your bolus! you are now an adult and responsible for your own lifestyle! Go to the table to eat and eat smaller bettter balanced meals!
