Yes it is possible. You will inherit one trait from each parent and then your child inherits one from each other you. So your wife could be OB or you could be AB. For example my father is A and my mother is O. My ex's parents are the same. We are both A, one of our children is A and the other is O because we were each actually AO

If she is O her antigen is O O And your antigen is AA or AO . If ur antigen is AA your kid's blood type would be A (in this case his/her antigen would be AO) If your antigen is AO your kid's blood type would be 50% A (antigen:AO) or it would be 50% O!!

Most likely scenario: One or more of these people doesn't really know his or her blood type.

You are A - so your genes must be AA or AO If she is O then her genes are OO So the child must be AO (shows as blood group A) or OO (shows as blood group O. But - there are a small number of very rare cases where you or she have mixed inheritance - chimerism. Now known to happen sometimes in humans. So if you wish to work out what has produced a B blood group child you need to talk to an (expensive) specialist to work out if either of you are Chimeral.

It's possible, but very very rare. The most likely explanation is that one of those blood types is incorrect.
