Well make your family see how nice he is and make them meet his family and give them a long talk saying stuff like I love him he's a person like u and me....... Try that

Are they stereotyping him or do they have specific issues with him in particular? It also depends on how old you and he are. If you're like 15, then you need to seriously consider if the boyfriend is worth all the drama and issues with your parents at this point. If you are like 27, then I'd say go with the BF if that's what you want to do, and let your parents adjust over time.

Racism. Tell them that racism is not good. You need to remind them. Sometimes, parents can be wrong sometimes.

Don't worry about it, there's so many judgmental people in this world. If you know and feel hes a good guy, then hes a good guy. Don't let anybody get in the way of that. But if you really wanna show them hes a good guy. Have him sit face to face with them and have them just talk, maybe he has something in commen with them. Just give it a try, and if they still don't like him. Then don't worry about it, because its what you think that matters.

Time will tell - regardless of his culture, they're trying to look out for you. What do his parents think of you?
