Haha, sorry to hear that your parrents bugged you. This is a feature i would try to ignore and keep hush when i worked in cell phones. You can track someone who has a cell phone by using math, towers and signal strength to triangulate them. This cannot be shut off unless the phone is off or in airplane mode. The other more acurate way is gps, in your case they are both too acurate to leave on. If they are tracking you with an app from the cell phone company u must shut off or airplane the phone. If its a 3rd party app you can go to settings> manage app> all apps and try to find one that sounds like tracking and remove it. This will stop the tracking but might alert them that its removed. The best bet is to airplane/ shutoff the phone and say your battery died. I would have a talk with your parents and tell them that the tracking thing is creepy and if they let their fear make decisions it wont be soon until we are all tracked by the government for our own safty.

Turn off location services if that's a setting on your phone, I'm not familiar with android.

Android has a "remotely location your this device" feature, just like Apple's "Find My iPhone". There is a away to turn it off, but then your parents will know you turned it off (when they log in to the website, it will show it's been turned off)...then you'll get grounded for a year.
