If the update say "out for delivery" that means you should get it today. It will not update again until delivered.

Yes. As soon as it heads out it is contacted as having left. Usually they give you a time.

USPS scans parcels as 'out for delivery' when it is sorted to the carrier's route. However, if the carrier has already left to make his rounds for the day, it will not be delivered that day. It will be delivered the next time the carrier delivers to your home.
