take her some out some place like to get ice cream and sit down and talk. tell her how pretty she is and how happy you are to be her sister. have a heartfelt moment and make sure she knows you love and will always be there for her.

Boy I feel really sad reading this because I know how an unpleasant childhood can destroy the entire life if not handled carefully. The ideal solution would be to seek professional counseling. If that's not your option right now, I suggest you read some books on parenting (there are plenty on Amazon). I know you are not her parent, but the ideas are the same. This will do both you and your sister good if you will be able to apply the lessons being taught. Another book that you may read is Get Out of Your Own Way by Mark Goulston. Just keep in mind that improving the psychological state is a journey which never ends. It is a puzzle that you have to pick up the pieces from different sources and apply them to your own situations. Also, since you are aware of your own problem, treat your sister well from now on. Talk, listen and love her. Hope you and your sister will have a bright future.

First I want to tell you it is not your fault. Yes, you may have made some bad choices but you are still young and in life you have to live through experiances to learn how to deal with things later on in life. I would like to see your parents step up to the plate and take some responsability for you and your sister's feelings. The first thing I would suggest doing is praying to God. He is with us all the time and even though you might feel like He ain't listening trust me He is! I would also suggest going to church and talking to a Pastor. I pray your parents will not deny you and your sister the ability to attend church. You can also go to the school consulor. It sounds like a lot of torment is happening there so someone at the school needs to be notified. I have already prayed for you, your sister, and your parents and I will continue to pray. Please let us know how things go and if you need anything else please let us know!
