Yes. Just open the laptop, remove the hard drive and connect it to some other computer with a USB to SATA cable, an external hard drive case or a HDD dock, and copy the files.

You can get the files by either getting your laptop repaired or possibly connecting the hard drive to another computer.

If the hard disk is undamaged, then you can remove that and connect it to another PC, using a USB adaptor and read whatever files are still on the disk.
