Hi Wendy, I do think the reasons you listed sound like they could very well cause palpatations. But I saw your question and my mom just had an ablation procedure done to her heart, and it worked perfectly. It stops the completetion of palpatations in seconds if you begin to experience them. I highly recommend the surgery if you have had them for a long time!

diet is key. the cardio system needs ca and mg. You get these in dark leafy greens. most americans deficient. Potasium important too. trace minerals another common deficiency. use sea salt. take vitamin everyday. eat eggs. they great nutrition.

This will often happen. People go to bed and their heart is crashing around in their chest. Might be a need for more magnesium in the diet. Magnesium is an extremely important mineral that we probably don't get enough of. There's a great supplement pill from NOW FOODS - Magnesium - reverse ratio 2:1. It's got calcium and zinc. Try three or four of those a day for a while.
