It sounds like an upper respiratory infection and you need to get antibiotics for it (we get baytril from the vets at our store) but you don't have a vet for him so....I don't know. You could google alternative treatments for URI's but I'm not sure if there really is anything.

He needs to see a vet immediately. A crusty nose can be a sign of a URI which is nearly always fatal if left untreated. There is nothing you can do for him at home other than hope he doesn't die, only a vet can properly diagnose and treat him.
