Think positive & think of the best! "He'll be fine! He's my superdad!" just don't think of something like "he's gonna die!" (it's just gonna even shorten his AND your life) & you shouldn't cry to much if he's a prideful man or a stubborn one... just think of the best, ok bud?

First of all.. its not your fault. You looking for work, isnt the heavy kind of stress that brings on a stroke, and such. In reality, youre experiencing that kind of stress, at the moment. See what I mean ? Stress about serious injury or so much greater than worrying if someone will land a job. It falls more under the category of "concern". It is much less...and not totally mind consuming--like an illness, or facing a trial or jail etc etc. But you can glean something from this.. your dad did care about your well being, more than you might have realized. My mom just died, a while back. Im not going to sugar coat things for you. This is going to be very difficult times ahead. Dont burn out in the first days. You need to find some peace in yourself, so you can be there for others. Most hospitals, have a chapel. Even if youre not religious etc. Go down there, just for the peace factor--and a place to momentarily-- step out of the action. When these things happen- the relatives all feed off of each others frantic emotions. Keep cool. It will benefit you greatly in the days to follow. In all things in life, you always have to be able to have that center of peace.. I call it my private mind island- to keep on--keepin on. Life can be very difficult, along with the fun times But the battlefield is always in the mind.
