Your recent oil change has nothing to do with the engine stalling events. They are separate issues here. New oil provides for engine lubrication, so that the pistons and all other moving parts in the engine perform as they should and do not seize. You have been just lucky the engine did not stall anymore. It could be fuel related, ignition related or exhaust oxygen sensor trouble. Suggest that you change the fuel filter, and clean purge the fuel manifold first, clean the throttle valve and the idle speed control valve, and monitor further. If your luck remains, that will be the end of stalling. Wish you extended good luck.
