It's probly your battery not having enough juice to keep everything running like fuel pump headlights etc. And your alternator can't pump enough juice to run the van. Also Ford is the way. Hahaha Happened before the Speedo kept going on and off lights flickering etc. Also there might be something that is draining your new battery that isn't shutting off properly.

It cannot be the alternator. You may have a loose ground strap. It there is white powder around the battery terminals clean them with a brush and baking soda. You have intermittent contact somewhere. An auto electric guy should find the problem in a few minutes. The fact that the lights and the engine are experiencing the problem limits what it can be pretty much to the negative battery terminal or large ground strap I think.

First off, take it to the dealership. If they are not smart enough to figure it out, go elsewhere!!!!!!!! No, on the alternator. Yes it could but if its not putting out enough power to run things, then the battery should have been drained by now so no on it being the alternator

You must have a short or something run a electric meter and see what it reads
