Have you perhaps updated the driver for the GeForce cards? I have a similar card on my computer and it was exhibiting the same symptoms. I didn't realize it had updated the driver. It would constantly freeze, then once in a while blue screen as well. Could you go into device manager and see what version you have? I had to roll back my driver to something like 319.xx, been working perfectly ever since. Definitely try rolling back the driver, other people have had endless problems with freezing, etc. after the 319.xx drivers. Another thing that came to mind after you mentioned the fan error is an overheating issue. An overheating CPU can cause these problems too. Try taking the side off of your computer or peek in the window if you have one. Make sure the heatsink fan is spinning at all times and especially watch what it's doing when it starts to act up. Try running it with the side off and see how it goes as well. You can download a program called Real Temp to see what temperature your cpu is running at. Try it out and please report back if you have any luck! P.S. If you are running Windows 7 (probably the same on 8 too) you can change the CPU fan settings under power management. Also, you can go into the BIOS and be sure the fan is kicking in properly. Should be something called Fan Settings Edit: Have you tried uninstalling that plugin just to eliminate the possibility that it is that plugin itself and the computer can run normally without it? What is the plugin called?
