The link below is useful as it the job section on the site with regard to nursing. General Medicine and General Surgery are the most busy and productive wards in any hospital. But your question is not really relevant yet as you need to qualify as a nurse and that means A Levels and University to get the relevant degree. The NHS pay the University Fees at the moment and a bursary (based on parental income) but that is rumoured to be stopping in the future. Whilst you train you get to work and see lots of different specialities and you know what and where you want to go when you finish (unless you opt to be a Midwife to start with) and then when you qualify you job hunt in those area.
