What he doesn't realize is that you burn calories every day just being alive. If we did not, people would gain weight every time even one calories entered their bodies. No, you do not have to burn 1200 a day. If you did, no one would ever lose weight and keep it off. Your plan is very reasonable.

Do at least 40 minutes 3 times a week and keep your calorie amount small. No, you don't need to lose more than you eat, you'd be essentially not eating if you did that which is very detrimental. Just make sure you don't eat too much and try to stay away from junk like soda and chips. Lower your calorie intake to 1300 a day which is good. The average intake is 2000 and cutting your diet down 700 calories allows you to overeat a little if you want and while exercising it is a good way to lose weight.

you cant eat 1200 kcal and survive the day you need to eat more... if you want to know how much you need in a day you need data like how much you weight, length and activity. even though.. every person needs atleast 1800 kcal... going below that is dangerous. go to abeautifulbody.net and calculate your TDEE and you will know exactly how much kcal you need , cheers
