Any of the Big 4 consultancies would be a good place to start looking. They are Deloitte, PwC, Accenture and Ernst&Young. These are the most internationally connected large consultancies and they offer a high level of professionalism. They are perhaps not as upmarket as McKinsey or BCG but they are far bigger hence need more employees, increasing your chances of employment. Your career background would seem a good fit. They also offer a wider scope of challenging jobs than the smaller boutique players, as they have not just the strategical side of consulting but also do large implementation projects which means you could also be exposed to the more operational side of a business, should you want to. You may have a look at Belgium as your country of choice: Brussels is its capital and it is the home of important international bodies such as the EU and NATO, leading many international companies to also have an office there. It is less than 2 hours train away from London, Paris and Luxemburg, and about 2 hours by plane from Berlin, Zwitserland and Northern Italy. It is a good and fairly safe place to live, has affordable real estate prices, a large international expat community (including a small Indian community) and delicious food. A place that merits a closer look if Europe were your destination. If Belgium would be your country, then Deloitte would be the biggest of the Big 4 and is a recommended employer. (I used to work there and loved the place but then chose to go for a more local player due to my family situation. The international dimension will suit you just fine).
