I would say Legolas because he has had more experience.

The movies embellish Legolas' fighting. In the Fellowship Of The Ring book, before the fellowship sets out ... Tolkien states that Legolas was the least accomplished warrior in the group. That is certainly not the case by the end, but never the less ... Aragorn is a far more accomplished and experienced warrior. Man fights amongst themselves far more often than elves do, and so Aragorn has seen a lot more war than Legolas. Think of it this way ... do you think Gimli could take Aragorn? Because Gimli consistently won the kill count contest with Legolas in the book. Don't forget that Aragorn is one of the Dúnedain which are descendants of Numenor, which is why he looks so young ... he was in his late 80s in LOTR and lived until he was 210 years old. The Númenóreans were the mightiest of men, and well known for their combat prowess. He, specifically, has human, elf, and "wizard" blood in his ancestry.

I've already seen The Hobbit, parts 1, 2, and 3. It was called Lord of the Rings. Why would I want to watch it again, remade by the exact same director? We can go ahead and put Peter Jackson into the egomaniac pseudo-genius club with Lucas.
