Bring them in close for a warm embrace. Hold the hug for a few seconds. Whisper in their ear, "I am fully engorged." Tip of the hat and out the door!

The normal way to say goodbye is a hand shake. The hand shake should be for exactly three seconds. Save the hugs for relatives or for big parties.

A hand shake is good, best of luck on your new job.

It all depends on how close you were to these people . . . and whether they know you're leaving or not. If you work with some on a daily basis, they would definitely expect a Goodbye from you, but I don't think it would be necessary to go around to everyone. As for HOW to do it, the best thing would be to follow the lead of the person you're talking to at the time. Hug back if THEY hug, etc . . . some people may not like physical contact.

Hand shake is the proper etiquette. Maybe a short email to the group saying you enjoyed working with them and provide your new employer/contact information. Short and sweet.

Why are you panicking? What's the big deal? Do you think you have such big of an impact on their lives that they need an "official" goodbye from you? If you were actually close to any of those people you wouldn't be nervous. Just do what I did the last time I left a job: Don't say anything to anyone. Simply clock out and leave. The End. If you really want to maintain contact with any of them (or vice versa) I'm sure you could find them easily enough on Facebook or Twitter. If not then they weren't worth it.
