At once... bad. Japanese itself is a pretty hard language to learn, especially if you're not familiar with the more "symbol~y" languages. The sentence structure is usually pretty different from my experience with foreign languages. You'll also likely need to learn honoriffics, male and female "words", etc. The same could follow for Chinese, which I believe is the "root" of many of the Asian languages, but don't quote me on that. If for anything, start either Russian or Chinese first.
