3/4of a miles is 3xmile length(i dont know it im on the metric system)/4 and 2/3of an hour is 2x60/3=40 mins so his speed was the number you found, times feet* / how many feet a mile has, divided by 40*60/3600=0,6666 sorry for bad english respond if you need more help or dont understand
