He has the easiest job in football. Anyone could win the SPL with celtic. Also anyone could get rangers promoted from Division 3 and 2, so to be fair I think he would do a similar job... Then again, so would David Moyes James Beattie Chris Sutton Mark Hately Terry Butcher Peter Reid Insert another terrible manager here...

Being the egomaniac that he is, I think he would 'bask in the task' until the criticism and abuse got to him (though he has shown to be fairly oblivious of abuse in the past to a certain degree). However, as he hasn't shown too much ambition to date, I think he might stay around a little longer than some people on both sides of the Old Firm divide might think if he was in Ally's position. Regardless, neither manager at the moment is being truly tested as to their capabilities to make as a real boss.

allys just a puppet getting his strings pulled left right n centre by the moneymen to get the fans to buy season tickets i seriously doubt lennon would have stood for it although for 850k a year and getting to buy spl standard players to play against part time players who knows he may have stayed for the pay day

I think Neil has more decorum than to allow himself to be used as the bait to draw fans money in to line spivs pockets..Ally is not in a predicament, he gets £800, 000+ for running a team in the lower leagues, with players that can comfortably win it, he trousered 1 million shares for pennies and gets a discount at Greggs, where is the predicament in that...? When he was in the SPL with the full team pre liquidation he couldn't cut the mustard at all and was punted from everything he entered, so Ally is in a good place at the moment, he is winning and has no opposition so to speak that he has to genuinely fear if his players turn up...
