I think it's a little weird to put love in it. Regards, Kind regards or Sincerely would be better.

Spare yourself some humiliation, and keep those feelings to yourself. In the months and years to come, you'll be so glad you did. It is indeed a no-no. Just don't. Regards is okay, it's sufficiently formal while still conveying respect and esteem. But love? No. Don't.
