Look for another job first. Get another job offer before you quit the job you have. Is it possible that your current feelings about the job have caused the increase in stammering? Is there something else that you would like to do? Continue working,? if so in the same field or a different area? go to school?

Looking for another job first is a great idea. You might also consider putting up a blog and start helping others, with whatever knowledge you have gained in your young life. You just might be surprised what happens - old adage: Give To Get...

They can't discriminate against you because of your speech impediment. That's against the law. But 22 is still young. When you're 40 and still working at a fast food place, THEN you need to worry.

Jobs anywhere are difficult to get. Unemployment is being cancelled for tens of thousands of people each day. I think you will soon find your self working with older and older people. I worked at the same restaurant from age 16 to 29. I used that job to graduate college with no student loans. The little money you earn and save at your age pays off big time when you are older and find your way into a dream job.
