Take them off and put them in the car. In Russia I saw this. When it started raining, everyone would pull over and put their wipers back on, then continue. Just got to make sure you don't run them without the wipers.

sadly increasingly common. even being stolen for boot sales etc. car manufacturers at a loss to prevent as cost of doing so leads to more serious issues eg removing entire wiper arm .cutting etc. we can try.. using black nylon zip ties. as used for cables. often used to try and stop thieves nicking wheel hubs but the serious ones simply carry stanley knives. ideally an alarm may be best but setting one up so it triggers when wiper arm is moved isnt easy. even wheels with locking wheel nuts get nicked.. my son uses two different types on basis unlikely to be able to remove Both ..

Invest in a dash cam that has parking mode, you will then have solid evidence to prosecute the idiots and a dash cam just in case something happens while your daughter is driving.

NoName has a good idea. Look up the MI Witness camera We used to have to remove the wipers, mirrors and wheels from our company vans each night to stop them being stolen. When we tried CCTV they stole the camera. Such is modern life.
