It depends on the cause of the dehydration. You probably want a drink that has electrolytes in it, if you're losing fluid at a higher than normal rate (sweat, excess urination, vomiting, diarrhea). If you are dehydrated because of intense exercise, then something with some sugar in it would be ok. If it's just your normal drink for the day, then the sugar isn't necessary, and you should probably skip it if you can. There are low and no calorie sports drinks. But for every day hydration, water is good.
