If its not healed you will know by the feel of it, and the skin around it, which if not healed right could cajlse problimes and need surgry, but if healed right will be simply healed and ready for father use, the call is yours if you wNt to shove somthi g in o not Zombies could smell it if not healed aswell

You can change the hoop at 6 months but piercings take a year to fully heal

It's probably pretty close to healed, if not healed, by now. I had two helix piercings done at the beginning of June, and I just had the earrings changed out a few days ago. It will probably bleed a little bit when you change the earring. Mine bled and were sore because I ended up getting a larger gauge (I had studs before and went to captive bead rings). The shop I had mine done at changed out the earrings for me; you could look into that, too. If it's sore, just be careful with it and give it a little bit of TLC.
