please don't cover up a damp wall, if it isn't already molding it will be soon, followed by terrible respiratory problems and expensive repairs. The sooner you get the damp wall out (especially if it's drywall) the better. Then find what is causing the problem (roof leak? bad windows? plumbing?) before proceeding. sorry, this one is not an easy fix

it would be a lot better if you opened the window ...you must ventilate ..and no it wont be better
