If you are sitting there for 5 hours to take a test, it would be a good idea. If you are doing a 10 minute quiz, I don't think that is a good idea.

During such long exam, it will relax you. However, I would like to add other useful advice: 1. Always go with your first instinct when answering questions. Statistically, when you erase your first instinct answer, you will make it wrong. 2. Go through the exam and answer first "those questions you are absolutely sure you know". 3. Go back to the beginning, and deal with the other questions you were not sure of, which will take you a little longer. The above will avoid you from running out of time, leaving questions you were absolutely sure of, to be left blank.
