Yep, the dirtier, the better for sure. Just brush it out in case you have products in your hair, then go ahead and colour it. You can wash it the next day or so, but don't wash it hours after you have just coloured it... you don't need to. Once you rinse the colour out and apply a conditioner, you are good to go.

Yes. The natural oils in your hair help the dye stick better.

yep! keep that dirty hair :D and that is for any hair type, I can't go by the cat pic of type of hair you have but anyone who going to dye it and such, keep it dirty..well not too dirty lol

Don't delibrately get your hair dirty. Product buildup and natural hair oils allow your hair to be penetrated better by the hair dye
