If you dont mind sharing a room with 6 other people, then maybe. You could like in Brisbane or Daly city and commute. They are cheaper, but close by. South San Francisco too.

SF has a higher working wage than other cities. But even at $14 per hour you couldn't afford to live alone. You'll have to have roommates and be very frugal to survive in The City on that amount of money.
