personal prefeence really. loved will get you respect by those closest to you, but you remain at risk for safety issues. feared will create a safer atmosphere for a person, but you may never really be able to tell who your friends are. if you don't care why people do things for you, then go with fear. if you like knowing that the reason people do things from you is because of a genuine care or concern for you, then work for the love angle. good luck.
