Are you the tenant or landlord? Is she a tenant or landlord? Unless you are the landlord and she is your tenant, I can't see any reason why you should shovel out her car, unless you just want to be nice and neighborly.

Sounds like a load of cxxp to me. She is trying to get you for some free labour. If she is a tenant, then her obligation to keep the area clear is just the same as yours. I wouldn't even talk to her but just do my side and my walkway and leave her for hers to do! Unless you want to come to some sort of monetary arrangement where she would pay you to do her side. Really though, if she is already trying to boondoggle you, then she surely wouldn't even want to pay you! So at that thought, just stop talking to her!

the upstairs wants free labor and she's not gonna pay --- a pathway is the front sidewalk leading to the street --- if it wuz me I would ask for pay to shovel out her driveway --- that rental agreement is vague and if you are relating correctly it does not state her side of the driveway === get paid , leave it alone, move in the spring

I do not think by law you have to. Talk to them and make some sort of deal. Ask them why they can't shovel it.
