Not necessarily - it all depends on the flight, how far in advance you book, which cities you are flying to/from, etc Look on or to find the cheapest flights for the dates you wish to travel One airline is not always cheaper than the other.

Tickets prices may vary a little, but on BA you are likely to get a better luggage allowance, as many of Delta's flights attract a fee for the second/third bag.

It depends on the specific route you are flying, and the specific day you're flying. Delta is going to be cheaper on some flights, British Airlines will be cheaper on others. Airlines frequently adjust their pricing based on several factors, but largely it's based on supply and demand. Overall, I do not believe one airline is significantly cheaper than the other, but it depends on the specific flight. And for what it's worth, they're both good airlines.

It depends on how full the flight is and how early you look. Check out a website such as or where you can compare the prices of multiple airlines.

That's fine and for cheap flights booking time play vital role. If you booked on last minute then whether you are booking in Delta or BA both will be costly and if booking ahead then the chances could be getting cheaper.
