Can you prove who did it? If not, then not grounds. Unless he has a lease, you can evict him with 30 days notice (the same as any tenant).

How old is the stepson and is he on the lease? If he is over 18 and not on lease, he is a violation of said lease.

Evict? You have a rental agreement with your stepson? If not and he's over 18, throw him out. It's your place.

'someone'? then you don't know who did it there is such a thing as a 'restraining order' that you can get against the g/f but you have a problem with the stepson that needs to be dealt with

Throw him out immediately. You only evict tenants. A tenant has a written lease. Does your stepson have a written lease with you? If not, an eviction isn't the right thing to do. If there is a lease, check the lease to determine if your stepson has violated any of the provisions. Then begin eviction procedures. Hope that helps.
