There is a generic out, now that the patent has ended , so the price is a lot lower to purchase. most insurance will cover portion of the full price . In order to have the original cymbalta the Doctor has to write no sub on prescription,

All I know is that I didn't pay much for mine. I can't remember if the brand name itself was covered, or if it was available in a generic.

You need to check with your insurance company - each company has a different list of what they will cover and for how much.
