Men do not have to do all the work, its down to your self how much you want to put in, it helps if you communicate often with your partner to agree on responsibilities.

Sorry it has been that way for you. Possibly pick a different type of woman. In my life my husband and I are equal partners and best friends. We each work very hard in our marriage, in our careers, at home, in bed, raising children, etc. We have been equal partners since day 1 and is still that way 28 years later (26 of those married). I asked him out first (he asked me out for the second date). I was the sole breadwinner while he got his advanced degrees for the first 4 years of our marriage. We both do what must be done to keep things moving forward.
