Men are not and have never been discriminated against or oppressed as a gender. The same can not be said for the female gender. Edit: It's almost as if you are claiming that if men face discrimination, then that means women don't also face discrimination. Is this actually what you're trying to claim?

Only men from manosphere think men are disposable, because the other men are doing things that they(men from manosphere) think makes men disposable. I doubt these men are doing anything that they claim "men" to be doing.

The word "disposable" has been used so many times today that it seems to have lost all meaning.

@ Granny Tea - historically the overwhelming majority of those who die in direct combat are men... even in countries where the draft doesn't exist, notions like Selective Service in America only apply to men, not women. No matter what women's oppression is or was, you can never honestly claim it's been to a point of viewing your life as so disposable and worthless that all you are to the state is cannon fodder.

you know women are treated a lot less in most parts of the world. women are treated like worthless trash in many parts of other countries. just because women are treated as being worth a little more in one country doesn't mean its the same for the rest of the world. And also, women do face more hardships than men in the real world. ive conducted accident experiments and ive seen it. People will respect you a lot more on streets and at shops if you were a man than a woman.

Women aren't being oppressed anymore.
Answer #8 | 23/12 2013 07:08
Feminists have to reference some backward foreign culture or questionable history to support their claims of oppression. Meanwhile men in Western societies are CURRENTLY more likely to be victims of homicide, the vast majority of workplace injuries and fatalities are men, and only men are required by law to register with Selective Service. But many people turn a blind eye and won't acknowledge those issues. (see other answers here)
