It is silly thing to count calories .If you eat fresh foods your body will tell you how much exactly you need to eat . You can eat too many burgers or pizzas and only pain in your belly will tell you that is time to stop but if you eat broccoli and chicken and salad without additives your throat will simply squeeze and will not let you swallow any more than you need . You can try it with water and than with water and some sugar in it .With sugar you will be able to drink double amount .

Either walking or running 1 mile burns 150 calories ( its the distance that counts). So if you go 4 miles you burn 600 calories. So, to maintain your weight, you need to eat 600 calories more than you otherwise would require to maintain your weight.
