not in every case. if no fuel is reaching cylinders.. it wont fire. have we checked plugs for wetness after cranking? have a diagnostic check run. otherwise have fuel system ( delivery) checked.

You have fuel to the rails, if the injectors are plugged or the injectors aren't opening then the engine isn't getting fuel at all despite adequate pressure and a working fuel pump.. Check the spark plugs for wetness after a long start attempt. If there is no fuel in the cylinders then the injectors might not be opening and you need a diagnostic, could be something simple like a worn wire or an oxygen sensor.
