Holiday pay is not time worked, and thus does not go toward the OT calculation.

Idaho is one of the states that does NOT require the payment of overtime.... http://www.labor.idaho.gov/dnn/idl/Businesses/IdahoLaborLaws.aspx so, IF this business is NOT covered by federal law (FLSA) any OT paid is a matter of policy. IF the business IS covered by FLSA any OT is owed for hours WORKED over 40 in a "work-week". to understand what employers ARE covered by FLSA see: http://www.dol.gov/whd/regs/compliance/whdfs14.pdf now take this information and TALK to your employer about your concerns. do NOT make accusations, do NOT blame anyone, talk about your concerns in a polite professional manner and if they are not addressed contact the state or US Department of Labor (which depends on who has jurisdiction for overtime if any)
