Holiday pay is not time worked, and thus does not go toward the OT calculation.

Idaho is one of the states that does NOT require the payment of overtime.... so, IF this business is NOT covered by federal law (FLSA) any OT paid is a matter of policy. IF the business IS covered by FLSA any OT is owed for hours WORKED over 40 in a "work-week". to understand what employers ARE covered by FLSA see: now take this information and TALK to your employer about your concerns. do NOT make accusations, do NOT blame anyone, talk about your concerns in a polite professional manner and if they are not addressed contact the state or US Department of Labor (which depends on who has jurisdiction for overtime if any)
