Being young, thin and pretty have very little to do with getting acting work. And it doesn't matter how much you love acting unless you also have huge talent. Also, being an extra is NOT acting - it's no more than being a human prop. To be an extra you'd have to pay a fee to join an extras agency - but it won't help you become a real actor. If you want to get real acting roles, you have to audition for them against hundreds of professionals. To get auditions you have to be signed with a good agent - and they will only ever accept very well-trained and very experienced actors.

The first thing you have to realize is that companies invest money in their commercials and they're looking for trained and experienced professionals. Generally speaking - they don't hold open auditions that anyone can just show up at. For most professional work like commercials you have to be invited to audition, usually through a talent agent. And you can't just hire a talent agent, it's more like they choose you. If you're a minor your first step would be to talk to your parents, because they're going to HAVE to be very actively involved in any professional career you attempt. It's show BUSINESS so it's not like school. There are even legal restrictions and requirements for minors in the industry. So getting into a commercial isn't something that you can really do on a whim unless you and your parents know some local business person who would be willing to put you in their commercial. Extra work is not considered acting experience in the industry. It's more like being moving scenery or a human prop. To be an extra you have to live where filming occurs and be available on short notice. It's not unusual for extras to be called to work the night before filming. The easiest way to try to be an extra might be to register with a casting company in your area. A casting company is NOT a talent agency. They do NOT represent actors like an agent would. They're more like a job brokers. Production companies hire them to provide extras. All the legal restrictions and requirements that apply to minors in acting roles apply to minors working as extras. So, for example, in CA or NY you would need an entertainment work permit and a trust account established in your name.
