Goonhilda is absolutely right. There is nothing wise in taking on more debt to get out of debt. You also won't be able to get a loan with no source of income because you'll have no means in which to repay it. There's nothing worse than collections calls because creditors will call as many times as the law will allow, and it can be frightening. I personally hate having to call people that are nearing charge off status and listen to them break down crying on the other end because I know there's little I can do to help. I know your babies mean the world to you, but you have to be honest with yourself financially. You would've been better off scaling back for the holiday so that the money that was spent on gifts would have gone toward getting yourself out of debt and on the road to financial freedom. Sometimes it's more important to prioritize wants over needs.

Not really, as all lenders are going to begin by looking at your current status and see you are not paying your bills and have no current job, thus pretty much making you unable to get a loan from anyone but friends and family

out of work since Oct? and how did you plan to pay the Christmas c expenses you racked up on the credit cards? and if you were able to get a loan, without a job how do you think anyone considering loaning you the money expects to get the money back? you can't get blood out of turnip!
