You don't want to do the jobs that you're most likely to find. What is left. A store without many customers doesn't need help. BestBuy is likely to go out of business.

Some States have technology websites that are specific to computer jobs. In Pittsburgh we have the Pittsburgh Technology Council. If you have some computer skills it might be worth your while to focus on salary-based jobs rather than hourly-based. Most places like Best Buy have an online application process, same as Dollar General. If you don't meet the qualifications to apply for a management position, most retailers only have a few positions under that which are cashier, stock person, retail security. Also try: Good luck!

While I understand there are places you wouldn't want to work because if you don't enjoy it, you won't hold onto it for long but just think about it.. Look on craigslist, ask friends, etc... Having some money is better than having no money.. I thought I hated working food and restaurants but I recently picked up a job at a bar that I love. Matches my personality great and I can learn things from the DJ that works there(I make music and play instruments as a hobby)... Just find something you will enjoy.. Getting motivated may be difficult but just think about the end result.. Money
